The Science
The Wellnicity Cold Pack works by combining four professional grade nutrients proven to boost immune system function to reduce the symptoms of the common cold, and to shorten the duration. Zinc is an essential trace mineral involved in over 200 enzymatic reactions in the body. The immunologic mechanisms whereby zinc conveys resistance to infection has been well studied for many decades. It is clear that zinc affects multiple aspects of the immune system, from the barrier of the skin (wound healing and pathogenic infection) to gene regulation within lymphocytes.
